Since the August 5, 2008, National Night Out, the Kingston Police Department has expanded the Neighborhood Watch Program due to the interest of local citizens. A watch was initiated on September 15 in the community of Lakewood and Davis by Reserve Officers Gene Sutton and Pete Stinnett. The citizens were very enthusiastic and ready to participate in this joint effort of emergency services with their community.
The next Neighborhood Watch gathering will take place in October with the citizens of Circle Drive and Lakeshore.
