Council Member McClure

Councilman McClure was voted onto the City Council in 2001, and served as Vice-Mayor from 2003 to 2005. Mr. McClure and his wife know many people in Kingston and he ran for office because the people wanted a stronger voice in the decisions of the City. He was born in Rockwood, graduated from Roane County High School, and earned a BS degree in communications from Austin Peay State University. Mr. McClure has been the owner and operator of Greenskeeper Lawncare & Landscaping since 1996 and his wife Melissa has been owner and operator of Kiddie Korner Daycare & Preschool since 1995. They have two children, Hunter and Mary Madeline (Madi). When he is not working, he loves to play with his children, read, cook, and play or watch football of any kind!
